As a person who dreams of buying a custom chopper, I occasionally look at what’s for sale online. I have been noticing a lowering price trend for many of these hand built one offs. My thought would be that without the TV shows that feature a fighting father and son, or the small garage mechanics competing for best in show, the spotlight isn’t shining as brightly on the industry, lessoning the demand. Personally I think we should buy now before a new hit show comes out and the masses think it’s cool again to own one of these original art works on wheels.
